About half a year after I had an appendectomy, I started having pains in my abdomen. Generally around my stomach area.
That was almost four years ago.
The pain wouldn't be horrible, but it was there, and sometimes, my stomach would bloat up. (This being uncomfortable)
In the past six months, this conditioned has very much taken a turn for the worse.
The pain would be much more intense, and my stomach would bloat to a quite large size. The bloating lasted from one hour to all day.
I noticed that if I ate something really acidic, I would hurt more.
That, and I wasn't able to do any rapid movement. (exercise)
Running, jumping jacks, jogging...anything like that would cause my stomach to bloat and I would sometimes cough up blood.
About seven weeks ago, I started vomiting after I ate.
It doesn't matter what I eat. My stomach just can't keep most food down.
If I don't vomit, I feel horrible for hours.
And, the pain has gotten excruciating.
I visited my doctor in July and he ordered my a few different medicines and and Endoscopy.
All the Endoscopy did was score me some wicked photos and prove that I had IBS (which was already known)
Since the pain had worsened, my mother set me another appointment to see my GI doctor.
He started me on Cyproheptadine that Thursday, and set me test appointments for Thanksgiving week.
I am to have an ultrasound on my gallbladder.
I will have to eat four radioactive eggs while lying in a machine so the doctors can watch how my body reacts to the eggs.
I am to have medicines injected by needle into my stomach to try and recreate my pain (which sounds crazy to me)
Because as of now, the doctors have no idea as to what is plaguing me.
Back to the medicine. I took one pill Thursday evening and one Friday morning. I was feeling bad that morning, but I didn't think about it, pain has gotten to be normal for me. I also took a pill Friday afternoon.
that evening, I was to help my fiance move into his new flat.
I actually spent most of that evening making friends with the toilet and curled up in fetal position on the floor.
I looked about three months pregnant my stomach was swollen so badly.
I even couldn't drive that evening...
I noticed Saturday morning, a cluster of red dots on my abdomen over my stomach. They didn't really itch, but having a bunch of red bumps on me sort of worried me. I discontinued the medicine that day.
When I checked back that evening, the bumps had spread and covered my abdomen.
On Monday, they had spread to my back and the tops of my legs and arms.
Wednesday, they moved up onto sections of my chest and shoulders.
And, today, I noticed that there are some on my arm.
I do pray that they don't spread to my face.
Sometimes they itch, but they are hurting..like someone constantly poking at a bruise.
My doctor, again, has no idea what is happening.
He just said to wait it out and see what happens.
Then, I will be hospitalized for testing on my Thanksgiving break.
So, I really need prayer.

That, and someone to diagnose me.
I wish Dr. Gregory House were real.

And, on a much happier vote, I would LOVE for you to vote for me!
